First Harvest Pine Honey (Riza) 250ml

Harvested each August in the pine forests of Evia, Greece, this distinctive honey is produced by local beekeeping families who move their hives to elevations of approximately 400 metres during the brief harvest season.
 
Unlike most honeys, pine honey is not derived from flower nectar but from honeydew found within the island's extensive pine forests. This gives it a character all its own: less sweet than many floral honeys, rich in complexity, and beautifully balanced.
 
The dry summer climate, low humidity, and naturally lower sugar content contribute to its thick texture, light amber colour, and remarkable resistance to crystallization.
Raw and unfiltered, Riza Pine Honey is minimally processed to preserve the qualities that make it so exceptional.
